Diary of Essex Garden Design: Week 3 2015
Katrina has been busy in the Essex Garden Design studio this week. We received an unusual enquiry from the owners of a day spa situated on a canal boat in West London. They have a garden right next to their mooring which they would like to design and contacted Earth Designs for some garden design advice. The garden features a large 200 year old tree. Katrina is due to visit them in a couple of weeks.
Katrina conducted a garden design consultation in Notting Hill this week. The clients recently purchased a ground floor basement flat and were looking for some ideas as to what to do with the exterior space. They need to make it dog friendly and would also like to complete the build asap. The theme should be Moroccan inspired. Katrina made some suggestions and they have commissioned a design.
Katrina will be writing a series of garden design columns for a free paper that covers the whole of Essex. Having recently opened our second office offering Essex Garden Design services, Katrina contacted the Evening Echo to see if they would like some editorial copy. They agreed and the first of 12 articles is due to roll out over the coming weeks.
Work is nearing completion on our garden build in East London. The decking and paving are almost finished and planting will take place in the next week or so once the plants are available. Once the finishing touches are complete the team will move on to our next garden build project in Hackney.
