What's On The Board: Essex and London Garden Design Diary Week 19 2014

It was another busy week in the Earth Designs London, Essex and Southend Garden Design studio:

Katrina put the finishing touches to a garden design in East London. The client’s are a young family who want to turn their garden into a more usable space. They have admired Earth Designs work for many years and are now in a position to commission a design and build. The design has an Italian influence with a culinary theme, as the clients both enjoy alfresco cooking.

Katrina has also been asked to write an article on ‘garden designs for awkward spaces’. The article for Homeserve magazine will be published both digitally and in their print magazine distributed to a readership of over 300,000 people.

We are also gearing up for a website overhaul and have appointed Art of the World, website designers in Leigh-on-Sea, to rebuild the site from the ground up. We will be thrashing out the finer details over the next few weeks, so watch this space for developments.

Our garden photographer, Marcus Harper, has also been out and about shooting some of our projects from the last couple of years. Through our links with Marcus he receives content to build articles for various publications, while we receive beautiful shots of our gardens to include in a portfolio update we have planned for later in the year.

Katrina took a booking for her specialist one-to-one ‘Sketchup for Garden Designers’ course later in the year. The student is an established landscaper looking to improve his presentation techniques.
