East London Landscaper – level me out!

garden design

This garden had an awkward split level with a steep set of steps to wrestle with. They called in an East London Landscaper to help solve the problem. With a beautifully designed interior they had now turned their attentions to the outside and wanted to get some help.

The family would like to update the space to meet their needs now the children have grown up. The lower area will include a fixed decked seat without matching table, as the client are happy to bring their dining table from the house when needed, which will help keep the space clear and uncluttered.

The upper area will be given over to lounging with a large sofa and coffee table. Opposite this area is a water blade, beside which will be three decorative strips featuring glass aggregate, Perspex and artificial lawn. A feature wall clad in pink Perspex will with moose head mounted on it for the ultimate in whimsical fancy. The range of colours available to them for Perspex is wide and they could always have changes periodically if they got bored. It would also give the garden a block of winter colour rather then relying on plants to do the talking.

Katrina along with her East London Landscaper were keen to point out access would be a major consideration and urged the client to try and maintain existing levels otherwise they could see costs soring!
