What’s on the board this week?

Katrina has been to present the recent our garden design in West London this week. The project offers a contemporary design solution to the space and packs a lot in. An L-shaped bench and red cedar slatted panels define the space, with the addition of pleached trees to add further height and screening. A huge Buddha  water feature takes centre stage with block planting helping to soften the scheme.

A new client contacted us looking for an Essex garden designer as they had recently returned to the UK for Australia and were keen to get their garden re-landsaped. Katrina won her pitch against four other design companies. The site survey is due to be conducted in the next week or so. The design features a split level garden with an area for the kids as well as a large dining terrace and sun deck. A dramatic water feature will link the whole space together.

Katrina returned this week to re-visit a voucher client whom she met a couple of weeks ago. They had previously engaged her help to provide garden design ideas for their rental property and now want some assistance on their own property. They were impressed with Katrina’s ability to draw with them and they enjoyed the collaborative process. Katrina managed to produce two suggestions for them to consider. They are planning on doing a self build, so at this stage would just be looking for Katrina to produce a scale plan and provide a few supplier details.

Earth Designs has been contacted by a former design client whose garden design and build in East London we completed several years ago. They have now started a family and so have moved to a larger property. They have made an appointment for Katrina to give some design advice and ideas for their new space.

Matt has now finished the Walthamstow build, with only planting left to do at a later date, and has started a small project in north London.
