London Garden Design Diary – Week 24

Grow a Friendly Space

Our new garden design portfolio has arrived! Months in the planning, with lots of editing and tweaks, it is now here in all its glory. It can also be viewed on-line and hopefully will soon be uploaded to our web-site to replace the old one.

Katrina went on a consultation this week for a garden design in Wanstead. The client was looking to have her garden re-landscaped along a New England theme to match her plans for her lounge area. Katrina’s concept included raised beds, wave paving and knotted rope for that nautical feel.

The black slate paving and planting were installed at Matt’s site in Bushey this week. He has been battling against the elements to try and complete this garden, and finally with just a few last bits and bobs left to do he hopes to sign it off in the early part of next week.

Katrina also undertook a Garden Design Advice consultation in Watford this week. The client has renovated the interior of the house and are now turning their attentions to the outside space. They plan to stay in the house for at least another 5 years, so while mindful of budget they are looking for a design that will update the space and give it more structure. Part of the garden has previously been sold off to a developer, leaving a smaller space which lacks definition. Katrina sketched 3 options for allowing for different budgets and time scales.

Several new enquiries came in, including a landscaping quote in Stoke Newington, garden design in Epping and someone looking for a Garden Designer in Hackney.
