This client had recently moved to the property. The garden was a blank canvas but was overgrown and showed signs of neglect. The client wanted the garden to be cleared and refreshed, and the shed left by the previous owners to be replaced with a summer house and decking area for entertaining at the rear of the garden.
The garden will be completely cleared of its overgrown shrubbery and vegetation excluding an apple and pear tree which will remain. The ground will then be levelled, and new turf will be laid. A timber decking will be constructed at the rear of the garden spanning the width of the garden fence to fence. This decking will allow space for an outdoor dining area, the summerhouse/bar as well as a seating area opposite for plenty of garden entertaining. The decking will be fully equipped with LED lighting, power outlets and even an inbuilt speaker system.
A new pathway will be laid down the right-hand side of the garden from the rear of the property to the decking. This allowed for a large unobstructed lawn space at the front of the garden perfect for the client’s children to do activities and sports. Trellises will be secured along the right-side fence and a variety of trailing/climbing plants will be planted along the base of the fence the entire length of the pathway.
