Christmas garden lighting usually means Fairy lights. In our house we never seem to tire of them; Matt would have them up all year round if he could. And when they are finally up at Christmas and we switch on, there never seems to be enough. So I can only begin to imagine Matt’s excitement if we could get our hands on The Light Tree by Alexander Lervick . Just to include this in a garden lighting design would send him into orbit. The tree is made with over 2000 fibre optic cables wired onto a steel frame, and can perform the role of a lamppost in a street environment. I just think it is one of the prettiest things I have ever seen. Imagine if all lamp posts were replaced with these multicoloured delights… we would live in a fantasy world where it was forever Christmas and there would always be enough fairy lights!
