London & Essex Garden Design Diary – Week 40
This week Matt is making arrangements to return to a client in Essex to do a site survey for the garden design in Chelmsford. Its a long wide and not very deep garden so the client wishes to maximise the lawn space which will work well for their children. They would also like to create a nice entertaining area for all the family to enjoy.
Matt and his build team are making headway with the garden design in Thorpe Bay. Tiles for the fireplace have been ordered. The tiles that will be installed will create a unique woven pattern which gives a rustic finish, ideal for this sort of fireplace.
Katrina continues to work on the modern garden design in North London. The client wishes to create a low maintenance garden with a Japanese influence. Katrina is very excited about the project and the design is coming together nicely with the use of cotton steel screens and lots of new paving materials.
Katrina and Jo continue to increase their social media following with regular postings now appearing on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter.
Jo is also regularly posting to Houzz and Homify.
The final budgets have just been finished for the Essex roof garden. Katrina is due to present the garden to the client next Friday and we are just getting down the final specifications for the bespoke integrated seat.
Matt has conducted the site survey for the Thorpe Bay garden project. The garden is to be re-landscaped and will include summer house at the end of the garden as well as linking in the swing and trees at the bottom of the space. Katrina is due to push the design through the studio in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
