London Garden Design Diary week 33

After his busman’s holiday in sunny Southend, Matt has returned to site in Hackney. This week the team will be disposing of the remainder of the huge pile of mud and laying the paving.

Katrina has now completed the garden design for Romford and is due to present next week, the Hackney garden design will be presented next Saturday, with the Highams Park project due for presentation in a couple of weeks.

The garden design for North London is now underway. The theme is modern Japanese, so Katrina is focusing on a planting scheme of leafy greens, with cool white blooms and stunning acers. The garden is divided in to three areas for maximum nd the client is looking forward to the presentation next weekend.

Kirsteen starts with the Earth Design team next week. She attended one of Katrina’s short garden design courses and slotted in so well with the company Katrina invited her to join the team on an ad hoc basis. She starts next week with helping out with the planting at Hackney.

Katrina has been contacted by an old colleague looking for some planting design for their garden in Walthamstow, Katrina is due to see him in a couple of weeks to discuss the options for freshening up his space with a modern low maintenance planting plan.
