London Garden Designer – Garden Design Diary Week 2 2013
Matt is busy putting the finishing touches to our landscaping in Hackney.
The decking is nearly complete with just a few more screws to install. The outdoor fireplace is installed and working, the pots planted and the arches erected. The client has also asked Matt to build a bin store for their front garden.
Work is due to commence on our new project for a garden design in Holloway on Monday. The project is quite large and there is no side access, so clearance and moving materials into the space will be slow. The project is expected to take a good few weeks. Matt will start laying the paving and building the timber structures in the next week or two.
Katrina had a telephone interview for an upcoming magazine article featuring one of our garden designs in Harlow. The small urban garden, measuring only 4m x6m, packs a lot in including a suspended day bed, illuminated pots and outdoor canvas.
Bookings are now being taken for our short garden design courses. Based on a variety of subjects and suited to budding garden design students or fully bloomed garden designers, full details can be seen by clicking here.
With the new year underway, enquiries have began to come in. We received a call from someone looking for a garden designer in Romford this week. Katrina went to visit them on Friday and is producing a quote for a planting scheme
The first garden postal design of the year was booked last week. The client was given the voucher via one of our partnership sites and has waited until she has moved before redeeming it.
