London Garden Design Diary week 5

The garden build in North London continued slowly this week, with the team battling mud and weather to bring more materials into the space and get the construction underway. The raised bed has been constructed and is ready for rendering, and over 60 sq. metres of paving have been lugged in ready to lay in the coming weeks.

Katrina, our London Garden Designer has nearly completed the garden postal design for Stafford clients. They have come back to her with some revisions and a the final design will be a combination of the 3 concept sketches Katrina produced for her initial response to their questionnaire. Katrina will produce a planting list and plan to accompany the design.

Work has started in the studio on the new garden design for clients in Walthamstow. Matt has completed the site survey and Katrina has started her initial sketch-up layout .The design, for both a front and back garden, will have a Moroccan theme and Katrina has begun sourcing materials to suit.

We have been contacted by Living Etc to provide some info and images for a forthcoming garden design article due for publication in their August issue.

Katrina has also had enquiries for one of her short garden design courses. A local garden designer wants to improve their 3D drawing skills and feels a Sketchup course could be the answer. They are also considering our ‘Finding Inspiration’ course. If you are interested in, or would like to book, one of  our garden design courses, please contact us.
