Essex Garden Design and Landscaper’s Diary – Week 10
Katrina went to visit a couple looking for a garden designer in Leigh-on-Sea. They recently extended the property cutting into the garden and were looking for some ideas as to how to use the rest of the space. It was split level garden and Katrina suggested extending the lower level to give them a nice comfortable dining area directly outside the back door. Stairs would lead up from here to the main area of the garden which would be mainly laid to lawn and include a small patio at the back. Options included large archways with planting beds underneath to allow the client to hang children’s play equipment from.
Katrina is putting the final touches on the garden design presentation for client’s looking for a garden design in south London. It is a large family space with a mature oak tree in it and little else of interest. Katrina is proposing two patio areas laid to decking, one directly outside the back door to house the table and chairs, and the second towards the back of the garden to catch the late evening sun. She is due to present to the client next week.
Earth designs was featured in the local magazine “Oracle”. They did a feature about long flowering plants which proved very popular in the local area.
Matt and his landscape team are almost complete on our gardens in Leigh-on-Sea and Wanstead this week. There are a couple of finishing touches such as lighting to install but the finishing line is in sight for both gardens.
Jo has been busy adding images to our Houzz and Homify pages. Houzz and Homify are websites and online communities focusing on architecture, interior design, garden landscape design and home improvement. We are gradually building up our profile on these sights so feel free to take a look at some of our projects.
