Essex Garden Designer's Diary

Matt and his build team have been working on our Finchley garden landscape. The paving is completed now. We are just waiting on the delivery for the plants and installation of lighting.

Our Hackney garden build continues with the fencing and decking being laid and installed this week.

The Shenfield garden design is coming on nicely. The clients are looking for an Essex garden designer to assist in with ordering their existing garden in the new property. They have a swimming pool which they wish to retain but want to add a face lift to the rest of the space. Katrina is due to present to them next week.

The garden design in Leigh-on-Sea is nearly completed. This is a low-budget garden but Katrina is packing it full of interesting features to give it a unique design. Katrina is due to present to the client next Saturday.

Katrina went to see a client looking for a garden design in Great Wakering. She had recently had a swimming pool removed and was considering options for the remaining space. She loves Gaudi architecture and art nouveau designs so Katrina created a very fluid, curving space incorporating the view of the field from the bottom of the garden.

Katrina also went to see a lady looking to add a couple of features to her garden in order to add interest. The client loves Morocco so Katrina suggested that in order to create a Moroccan garden design, a couple of sets of wooden panels, tiled with a moorish design as well as a Moroccan water feature would give her a flavour of the Middle East.
