Weekly London and Essex Garden Design Diary: Week 7 2015
It has been another busy week for our London and Essex Garden Design company:
Work continues on the convent in Hackney.
Katrina has now emailed the recent east London garden design clients three concept sketches for consideration. The client is based in Ireland and called Earth Designs to produce a design remotely for their garden in Woodford. They are there a handful of times a month and want a low maintenance attractive solution to the space. They require a secure boundary and a place to store the recycling bins. They like a Mediterranean contemporary vibe.
Our previous clients in Romania have been in touch to request a revised design for their very large front garden. They have now become parents so want to change aspects of the old design to reflect their changing needs. The basic brief was ‘ we want to design a family friendly green space (green oasis!!!) that would double up as an event space for clients as well as glamping options (bell tents), theatre evenings and kids parties. Katrina is due to have a conference call with the client. We have dug the measurements out of the archives in preparation for this.
We won a new garden design client in Leytonstone. The client is pregnant and wants to renovate her garden before the birth in June. She wants a lush, verdant space with integrated seating. Matt is to complete the site survey this week
Our London and Essex Garden Design commitments are fairly evenly spread. As well as the above two London designs, we have two Essex designs in the studio. The first set of drawings has been completed and is awaiting budgeting, with the second well on the way. Katrina just needs to complete the planting scheme and lighting scheme and add a few finishing touches and then she can hand it over to Matt for budgeting.
