Essex Garden Designer Diary week 08 2015

Katrina has won a new job this week in Leytonstone. Matt is due to go and complete the site survey this week ready for Katrina to develop in the studio over the coming week.

With the garden design in Romania now in the diary, Katrina has managed to dig out the old plans (hand drawn!) from the loft and start to transpose them into Sketchup (with the aid of Google Earth.) The client has quite a long wish list of various wants and Katrina is keen to make sure she is well prepared for her trip out to Romania in a few weeks.

Now we are setting our stall out as Essex Garden Designers we are trying to ensure we have a consistent brand identity across all our stationary and communications. We have enlisted the help of a graphic designer to help us roll out updating everything from letter heads to invoices, emails, postal designs and packaging. We had three options to choose from and liked them all!

Earth Designs has written some editorial for the local magazine Oracle. It will appear in this month edition under the title ‘How to create the WOW factor in your garden design’. Watch this blog for the full article later in the year.

Katrina went to a garden design quote in Leigh-on-Sea this week and contracted a design package. The clients had found us by typing ‘modern garden design’ into Google and thought we were London based, so they were delighted when they found out we had moved to Leigh-on-Sea. Matt is to conduct the survey soon ready for Katrina to start drawing.
