London and Essex Garden Design Diary – Week 38
Katrina continues to work on the garden design in Romford. She is due to present to the client next week and Matt is just putting the budget together and waiting for a couple of quotes.
Matt and his build team continued their garden landscape in Thorpe Bay. They laid slate paving and installed railway sleeper rose beds.
Katrina won a design this week, it was for garden design in Essex. Katrina had been to see the client a few months ago for an initial consultation. The client have now decided to proceed with landscaping the garden once the extension to his house was complete. Katrina is due to go and see him to confirm the concept drawing within the next couple of weeks.
Katrina and Matt have had a build confirmed in Wansted. This family garden is due to be landscaped in the coming months to provide the clients usable space for all the family to enjoy.
Katrina has completed the first setting out drawing for the garden design in Hackney, East London. The client would like the garden for him to enjoy and relax in as well as a space his children can use when they come to visit at weekends. Katrina is a waiting to hear back from the client as to how he would like to proceed.
Katrina and Matt have also had the front garden build approved in Leytonstone. The garden features a large area of driveway, set at a 45° angle. The surrounding area is filled with planting. The build is due to commence in November.
Katrina was featured in the local paper. She wrote an article for the newspaper’s new lifestyle magazine some months ago about how to create space in the garden.
