Garden Design Diary – Week 40

Grow a Friendly Space

∙         Matt has begun writing garden specification documents for a student from one of Katrina’s garden design short courses.

∙         The article on the balcony garden we designed and built in Wapping has been written and is due to feature in the Garden Design Journal next week. Garden roof terrace design is always a niche market as naturally there is a different scope than ground level gardens.

∙         Katrina is continuing to build a new garden design portfolio. We created one on-line a couple of years ago, which you can view
here.

∙         We are in the process of renovating our blog and the appearance and layout will be changing soon. However, the same great content will remain. Watch this space…∙

∙         Katrina went to visit a garden design client in Winchmore Hill this week who had bought one of our vouchers through Red Letter Days. They have lived in the house for 7 years and the during that time have developed the garden in a piecemeal manner. The aim
of their consultation was to find a way to link the various areas they have done so far into something more coherant

∙         Work continues on the garden build in Hackney. Matt and the team finished the paving and have laid the artificial lawn this week.

∙         Matt has recently visited a potential landscaping client in Wanstead. The client has a small courtyard garden with some basic landscaped features which need a little renovating
