Brief

The clients will soon be moving abroad with their young children and intend to rent the property in their absence.

They require an inviting yet very low maintenance outside space to tempt prospective tenants.

The family intend to return to the property in the future and so want a space that is simple in design and that will flourish even if not attended to by their tenants.

Solution

The initial brief was to incorporated a planned extension. However circumstances have changed and they will no longer be commissioning the extension, so the brief and solution have been modified.

A number of creative ideas from the initial design have been included in the re-drawing.
